2 week ft. the Piano Guys and Elder Zwick of the Seventy
December 21st, 2016

This week was so much better!! im having so much fun and learning alot. this week we had to say goodbye to one of our favorite teachers.(theyre both our fav) Brother Farr. He was so awewsome. but we gained another sweet teacher, Brother White! Hes sooo awesome and hes probs my favorite. My district and i are doing a secret santa type thing! its going to be so much fun!  our TRCs are doing better, we got a new one. so we arnt teaching Sydney or Pam anymore:( we have a sweet new girl named Viri. we taught her what prayer is and the importance of it. She then at the end of our appointment prayed. it was the most spiritual prayer and sincere prayer. She is still confused on what the order is but they was she just opens her heart is so sweet. i love her so much!
Something funny happened when we played volleyball this week. when the new missionaries came some British people came in. SO 3 of them have work out time at the same time as us. we were all playng volleyball and the British elder just started yelling and said "WHAT THE FREAKIN HECK MATE!" and oh my goodness, everytime he would yell it would be so hard to under stand him cause of his accent. i couldnt stop laughing. He was so funny!
As since im friends with the missionaries that are going to Korea,  i now know alot more korean, i was talking to 2 Elders that im good friends with, (a cool thing is that one is from NORWAY!!! NO WAY!) Elder summers not the norwway Elder, had a tubberware full of squid tentacles with red pepper paste. basically his Korean grandma sent him it. So i ate it. ant let me tell you. it was good. it was better than the actually MTC food. I wish i was going to Korea! I also found out that Elder Oberhansly(in my district) loves Korea too! so i am not alone!

We have two new districts in our zone, and i love them all. they are so awesome and i can see the light of Christ illuminating off of them. But i still miss the other district that left. they were so awesome.
im so excited for Christmas! we actually get to call home sunday!
So on sunday we had a devotional with....... THE PIANO GUYS!! it was so fun and cool! they performed 4 amazing songs! They are all wonderful men!
Steven Sharp(what he said that i liked)
"We are all inadequate without the Savior." "Cry out for the Savior!" Being able to talk to our Heavenly Father daily is such a blessing, and sometimes we take it for granted. The MTC has been hard. it has, no matter how fun it may seem, most of the day is hard. But as i Call our to our Heavenly Father and Savior in prayer each day, morning, class time, before and after we study, before and after we teach, meals, night time. i have not prayed that much ever in a day. But i have seen His hands in my life daily than every bore and i Hope that you take the time in our day, whenever, where ever you are. He will always be listening. I Invite you all, when you pray, to get on your knees and be sincere and  humble, Pour your heart out to Him. He wants to here how youre feeling. He loves you so much! "He will pull you our of the darkness anytime, anywhere."
John Schmidt
He played Waterfall!!! oh my goodness yay!!
"Heavenly Father is ready to help us" Read Alma 37:36\
and think to yourself "How quickly do i turn to God when faced with a problem?" HE will help you i PROMISE!
"You should always, always care!"

Yesterday we had a member of the seventy come and talk to us. Elder Zwick and his wife.
Moroni 7:33
1. we must acknowledge our dependants on the Savior.
2. We must invite Him in our life.

They had alittle video of their granddaughter telling us a message, something she said was"If you stay close to Jesus, Jesus will stay close to you."

Christ is the Light that dispells all darkness. We need to rely on Him to help us through our darkest times. He will always be there. we just have to call our for him.
we need to "honors Christ name"

I love and miss every one of you! i hope that you all have a good Christmas! im super excited to experience Christmas here. Also to call my Family!! You all should Write me/email/or dear elder!! I want to hear from you. send pictures!!
I am so happy to have seen so many people that i know and meeting new friends. im so excited to be in North Dakota next week. its gone by so fast and im so excited to be out there... in the freezing cold.
I love you!

A mom who was dropping her son off at the MTC took this picture of the girls while they where at the Provo Temple and sent it to us!  Her  companions are Sis. Wills  and Sis. Carlisle

Week 1 Dec. 14, 2014

So ive been in the mission field for one week! i honestly love it so much. i have grown so much more than i have in the past 19 years of my life.
the first day here was a thing. haha we got here and went straight to the work. it was awesome. i saw my good friend Maisie, and about 15 other people that i know. its crazy.
So the second day started off with no alarm, literally. our alarms didnt go off so we were up at 710. haha no good. so we got a mini fridge in our room that day aswell, thank you diabetes. everyone was jealous. it was funny. there was an elder in our zone before they left name Elder Ita an he was this big tongan. i love him. he was sooooo funny. he was super jealous of the fridge and my access car to the cafeteria(24/7 access) hahah i miss that whole district. but today we get two more in our zone and its awesome! i love welcoming in the new missionaries. its so fun to say "WELCOME TO THE MTC!!!!" about a 100 times. thats how many times i was told. me and my companions, sister carlisle and sister will were made the sister training leaders in our zone. and i was made zone music cordinator ( or how ever you spell that.) we met our branch presidency and wives. theyre all super awesome. on our second day we had met our first role play investigator. which is basically our teacher role playing. it was super scary, but i soon started to see him as a real investigator and love him. his name was matthew. the teachers we have are super awesome and have strong testimonies. they are Bro. Croft, and Bro Farr. i loveee them!!! when we first taught matthew he was super open and willing to hear what we had to say.
the third day was super super awesome. we taught matthew again about the Plan of Salvation so he could know that he could see him mom again. I love my didstrict so much! its just me and my companions and 4 elders. E. Byrd, E. Hamblin, E. Gibson, E. Oberhansly. each person here has a strong testimony and i look up to all of them. being in a tripanionship is super hard and we did have challenges these past 2 days but im super glad to have them as companions. i got my first dear elder and package that day too, THANKS MOM!! yall should Dear Elder me!!! my info should be on my facebook. if not ill somehow get it to yall,,, if ya want! our personal study time was so amazing that night. the spirit was super strong and i could see the light of Christ shining from every single person.
The next day we had gym time. its sooo much fun. we play volley ball everyday and let me tell you, i have never had so much fun playing that game til now.. watch out peeps im coming home with serious vb skills. haha jk i still suck. the elders in our district gave us priesthood blessings that night for comfort and im so greatful for them. they are amazing.
The first sunday in the MTC was different but awesome. since our zone was super small(not anymore) it was almost awkward. we had an awsome devotional that night as well. the BYUs men Chorus came and sang to us. i saw the stake presidents son in there too! they were so awesome.
so monday.... it was a rough day. we had our first TRCs( our first investigators) we had two older ladies, Pamela and Sydney. they are so sweet. I love them, every since the first time we talked. This was the day when i felt very upset. i felt like i wasnt a very good missionary and teacher compared to my companions. sometimes its hard for me and sister Will to get a word into the lesson. sister carlisle like to take charge and talk the whole time. but we had companion invitory and talked about it. its all good. but the lessons worked well, out investigators felt the spirit and we did aswell. its not about us, its about them.
Yesterday was like that aswell, until the devotional that night. we had a wonderful lesson from bor Farr and bro Croft. i love those two teachers!we taught a new role play investigator(aka bro Farr) his name was BK. we was super open and willing as well. we taught our TRCs again that was the day we NEEDED that comp. invitory. we played volley ball again but it wasnt much fun cause the other district in our zone left to the field. i will miss them alot. theyre my favorite. So our devotional tonight was super awesome. the district and i participated in the MTC Choir. it was fun! so guess who came and gave a talk here!!!!????
Elder Jeffery R. Holland came!!! like fangirl over here!! he was soo amazing. it was such a great opportunity to have one of the Lords chosen apostles here! to be in the same room as him was super cool. the things that really stuck out to me was, the path that leads to salvation goes through Gethsemane. and we need to just me our best selves. He explained the mission life as hard. our Brother Jesus Christ willingly gave up everything, so the least we could do is give up alittle. I love that man. i Challenge you all to read Alma 26. and i promise that you will all revieve the blessings promised if you have faith in Him. I love you all so much and will try to send pictures later. Oh for a bonus i have a video of Elder Gibson, and elder in my district, riding the rocking chair as a bull. hes such a nooooooob.

love
