New transfer, new place, awesome times!!
so im in Belle Fource SD now. if you havent heard of it before, thats okay... its a small po-dunk town in southern South dakota! the Elders who share a ward with us are like 20-30 min away and their the closest. Belle is cloer to sturgis.. which is cool cause they have a bike rally!! thatll be something else!:) im in a trio and i love it!! one of the sisters is from canada!!
For Pday today we are going hiking with two other sets of elders and our ward mission leader! it excited.. if you know me you know i hate hiking, so theres a change.
monday we went and said goodbye to the Roses(bishop and his fam) they are the best!!
tuesday we had lunch with Heather, love her. Shes so nice and the best! we went and had dinner with TT and Tonsan. it was good. we went and helped some elders and said goodbye to Israel..:( i love and miss him!
Wednesday we went and got Froyo with Sisters Wright and Wells.!! my homies! and got lunch with Camie! Camie is doing good! She is the best! We went and said goodbye to the senior couple, Elder and Sister Crockett!! they are so cute!! we went and had dinner with the Merkleys and taught a lesson about the Atonement. Sister Greene threw up there so we had to run back home. She got food poisoning from some where. she was sick all night until like 5am. poor girl.. and she was going home the next day too!
thursday i finished packing my stuff as well as sister Greenes stuff! we drove to Bismark and got on the transfer vans to our new areas. i was the only sister on the transfer van that was headed to rapid city!! so thats 6 hours! its was fun!! about halfway through we all had to go to the bathroom but we were driving in the middle of no where. we stopped and i went to the bathroom on the side of the rode, but to my luck none of the elder did it to cause THERE WAS A GAS STATION LIKE 2 MILES AHEAD AND NO ONE DECIDED TO TELL ME! haha hahahahaha im just better than them! lol jk got to Rapid and met up with my comps and drove 45 back up to my area!
Friday we had district meeting in Sturgis, so thats about 45 min away. its was good! we talked about the importance on prayer and making it meaningful and with a real intent. I love that. cause Heavenly Father doesnt want us to make our prayers so complecated to beat around the bush.. we just need to talk to him!! started weekly planning, had a lesson with Byron, he is a gator! we had dinner with him at a members and they helped us teach him about the Priesthood and who can have it. He is on date to get baptized........TOMORROW!!!!! hhaha yay we then went and saw a potential named Harley. we went over there and she had friends over and all they did was bash us.. so we left. all you can do it testify! if they arnt ready to chance and open their hearts, thats all you can do .
Saturday Byron was baptized. Byron is in his late 40s. Hes so difficult to understand cause all he talks in is metaphors! but still a good guy! the spirit was so strong. he was soooo ready to come unto Christ!! we then went back home and did our studies and planning. went to a Less actives house, the Browns. We talked about the scriptures and praying and why its important. we watched Womens conference!! we drove to Spearfish and watched it at a members with a bunch of other women! Sister Stednick drove us! i love that lady!! shes the best! She also came to Harleys with us yesterday! she has such a strong testimony!
Sunday we had ward council at 730, it wasw crazy cause the old men started to fight.. awk!! we had church! our gospel principles class consisted of us sisters, Byron, and the elders. taught by our ward mission leader, Dylan! we talked aboutour Heavenly Father and the love that he has for uss. He love us so much!! we then went and taught another gator named Domingo. Hes hispanic and from Texas(sister Will? haha) its hard for him to understand what were saying.. he knows english but just cant process it. we taught the restoration again, using a puzzle. i took the lead in it. I had no idea what to say our how to start, but with the spirit andrelying on it, i knew what to say to him. we invited him to pray but he just wont. he says next week, so we will see how that works. we had dinner at a members, the Jones. we talked about the family mission plans. and talked about not to get discouraged. no effort is wasted! we went over to the Stednicks to teach Brother Davids( a Less active) but he was sick. The Stednicks have two St. Bernards. and boy they are huge!!! i have never seen those types of dogs in person before and it was sooooo awesome!! it was a blast!
im so thankful for prayer and to be able to talk to our Father in Heaven! He loves us so much and wants us to talk to Him!! Im so thankful for families. ive been thinking about my family this week alot and how grateful i am for them! i know the Lord is watching over you all and keeping you safe. in times of trouble tall on your knees and ask for his help! i love you all.

Transfers!:(:(
So lucky me im getting transferred:( ill be in a tri in Belfush South Dakota. but i am excited to see Mt. Rushmore!
Tuesday we saw the West. Brother West is a wacko but thats okay.... we dealed with it. we talked about the first vision and the adversary. we taught Ryan, a new Gator!!! we talked about the BOM and Resto. so thats 1/3 new gators this week! we saw the Alfeterez family.. and that was crazy as normal. We then had dinner on base with the McClure fam!! their kids are crazy but so cute!
Wednesday we went to Buffalo wild wings. sister Greene and the ZLs did the blazin challenge.. that was soooo funny!! we got another new gaote. His name is william. Hes our creepy next door neighbor. ill tell ya more about him in a bit. we had dinner at the Brinkerhoffs. they invited their neighbor over. we taught her. Shes not sure if she wants to meet with us. we saw Israel. My favorite! He invited his co-worker over and we taught the restoration. He wants to learn more so that 3/3!!
Thursday we had a bday party and Buffalo wild wings.. again.. for sister in our zone. Sister Johnson! we finished 12-week. (my training) we had dinner at the Maxwells, we watched the new first vision. we went to institute on base:) i gave the spiritual thought there. The Adversary is so real and he is going to try his hardest on us the closer we get to Christ.
Friday we had district meeting!! we had a "funeral" for Sister Greene and Elder Gines. They both are going home this week. We taught Camies sister, Cassie. She was confused about the BOM and thought that Joseph Smith was a false prophet. we threw down on that. lol she thought that the BOM was about Joseph Smiths life.. but its not so we clarified on that. We went and saw Heather(the Lesbian member) we went with her visiting teacher. that was fun! You can tell that she still has a testimony.. We had a bday dinner with Sister Johnson and her comp and one of the crazy investigators.
Saturday we had ward correlation and donuts.:) we went to the library. We went to the Mannings house. i love the Mannings. We went to base and saw sister Peatrowsky! We found out that her husband just got deployed. shes having a rough time so we need to help her. we went and saw Jen Nork! Brother Baker came with us.
Sunday we had breakfast at the Ericssons. they fed us Donuts and chocolate milk... we went into ward council. had church. we sat by TT!! HEs awesome! we had dinner at the Mapels. she made some reallly good fod and pie! we then went to the Farrers. we talked about the first vision and the adversary! guys the adversary is REAL! at around 10:00pm our creepy neighbor William knowcked on our door.. sister Greene opened it.... and we was WASTED! but he tried to hit on us and stuff. we wants us to come over for dinner and "teach" him.. but that isnt happening.
if anyone is planning on sending me a letter or whatever dont do it this week cause i dont know my new address. lol but you for sure can next week. i love you all!

Blizzard and Bw's
yo yo yo i experienced my first full blown BLIZZARD this week. so thats sweet!
Monday we went to the stake center for pday and balled! elder Evans and I played butter and rocked it! a blizzard came while we were there, some elders thought it would be fun to go out ther and record themselves. haha they came back in soaked and frozen! haha We had to drive to the closest sisters apt. and sleep over. it was so sketchy .
Tuesday weused our media hour and listened to some talks :) i watched the new first vision! its so cool yall should go watch it! we had exchanges and i took over my area. we went to the Mall and met up with a Less active member. she gave us homemade jelly and left.. #weird but haha the wind was super crazy still. we went to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings again.. its still so good! we went over to the Ericssons and read the BOM with sister Ericsson. WE read a few chapters in 1Nephi. We read about Lehis dream! its my favorite! we didnt have a car at the time so the 1 ward sisters picked us up in the crazy blizzard that just started up again.. #ND We went to the institute on MSUs campus. i love institute!
Wednesday we went over to our neighbors, shes a member. shes super old and just hurt herself. we went over there to check up on her. We talked with her and prepared her dinner. we went into a neighboring apt. building and got a potential. We then got picked up by the Zls. and went to BW's for lunch with S. Greenes old ward mission leader from Dickinson. Hes a hoot! our lesson with Cassie(Camies sister) canceled. we went to the church for sister Greene to do My Plan. i listened to some talks again. all good. we were there for a good 3 hours #PILES we walked in the cold for a bit and tried to contact some people. Elder Gines and Baired got black dotted so we got their van. So now im the mom driving the mini van. haha we went and say israel and played pool for a bit and talked about Sabbath day observance. He said he was coming to church sunday. so sweet!
thursday we actually weekly planned and finished. we got fro yo with 1 ward sisters. we tried alot of people but no one was home. We got to go to base today! we went to the Merkleys house for dinner. Zach was supposed to be there but he never showed up.. Sister Merkley gave us hair cuts so now my hair is #fresh. #splitends we went to the Rakos after that and had a lesson with Kelly and Ian. he wont commit to a date:( but hes down to 3 cigs aday! go IAN!
Friday we had district meeting. Our DL Elder Cowley picked on sister Greene and i agian to Role play. we taught the restoration. we went to Deb Greenes, a Less active, and talked to her about self worth and faith. went went and tried some potentials(POT HEADS) and nothing really happened. they asked us to come back some other time. we went and saw israel again with Brother Ashton. We played pool and talked about the importance on reading scriptures. Rob and his wife bought us burgers from JL beers. thats a good place.:)
Saturday we had exchanges. we got some Thai food for lunch and had our ward correlation. we literally had nothing set that day so all we did was tract and tried people. we called some people too. Sister Peterson called and invtied us over to eat some cake. so we gladly accepted the invitation.:) hahah we drove Elders Gines and Baird to their appointment.. #blackdot we exchanged back tried more people.
sunday was good! we had a meeting with the bishop and then ward council. i didnt go in this time so i chilled on a couch for 1.5hours. haha Israel didnt con\me to church... Sister Greene spoke in sacrament with Elder Fillmore and Brother TT. Brother TT is my fav! hes from Vietnam and talked about his conversion. Hes soo nice and funny! we went and taught the LInts and chatted with them. Chester is getting his Melchizedek Priesthood so thats awesome! we had dinner at Bishops house. I LOVE their family!! they are a hoot. we taught their FHE and watched the first vision and testified of it.
I know that this chuch is true! i know that Heavenly Father and Jesus came down to Joseph smith! I love this gospel with all my heart and mind and strength.

Elder Gines is my favorite
ok so first off, Elder Gines wrote my subject line. it may or may not be true. lol
Tuesday we had Zone Confrence. We combined our zone with the Bismark zone for it so we drove to Bismark. we had to leave at 630, so that was fun! lol i rode in a rouge squished in the back between Sister wright(MY FAVE) and Elder Gines (Elder Fave) for 2 hours. let me tell ya. we are a hoot. its was a blast. In ZC we had alot of training's and one of my favorite was, Satan seizes upon those who are about to see Gods hand in their lives. its so true. Satan doesnt want us to progress cause he CANT. another thing i like is that we either endure our missions or enjoy them. God wants us to enjoy them.:)
Jesus Christ will lead you along in any trials you have.
After we arrived back in Minot, President Hess(mission pres) took my comp., ZLs, and i out for dinner and Buffalo Wings and Rings. SOOO GOOD! we then had our interviews after at the stake center. my mission pres and wife are the bestest!
wednesday was filled with a media hour and lunch with some other missionaries. we went, i know, Buffalo Wild Wings. wings are the best! we then taught Kelly and Ian. Ian is our investigator, hes going good. Hes down to 4 cigs a day!! go him! hopefully we will put im on date this week. i love them!! we went to a Less actives for Dinner. She made the best food. their names are the Newmans and they are so funny and crazy,. HE was drinking some run and stuff. sister Greene and Phil tried to snort noodles through their noses like they were kids. it was so funn!
Thursday we weekly planned and got wings again.. thanks ZLs...:):) we taught Israel and beat him at foosball twice and lost pool twice. let me tell ya, when i get home imma be a pool master! haha we had dinner on base with a new Gator and a member. The new gators name is Zach, hes been going to church for 8 years but just has some things he doesnt want to give up yet. like he watns to finish his tats. but hes cool and well get him. we then went to institute and read in James. love that book!
Friday we had dinner at the petersons and had good cereal. we then exchanged. i went to the 1st ward with sister Wells. we went and taught feyi. shes african. she got mad at us for some random reason. Its so scary when a big african lady gets mad at ya, let me tell ya. haha we tracted:) Had dinner at The Whiteheads. members in my area. they are the cutest and funnest people!
Saturday we went to a baptism for the 3rd ward., exchanged back. We went to a recent converts. They are the ones whose husband got into Anti and now hates the church. we were there for a long time. helping her and jazz. we then had dinner at the Whiteheads again. we watched part of 17 miracles.:)
Sunday Zach was supposed to come to church but ended up not being able. We had ward council which is always a fun time. We taught primary again. I swear Minot 4th ward has all the crazy kids. we had some nesquick with the Zls in the apt. #gainz #bulk we had dinner at the petersons. we also played scum. I suck at that game. #scumforever We then went to the Alfeterezs and we talked about the Atonement and Gods love. He loves us so much!!
i was also asked to speak in church on the 26th so that happened, i am def not excited. hahah jk its what we do.
In ZC our pres trained us on the importance on getting recent converts to the temple. and having been an ordinance worker before i left on my mission got me thinking about the sacredness and the feelings i had in the temple. We as missionaries are doing the work for the people living and as we go to the temple, especially with recent converts we can help them do the work for their ancestors who have passed on. i loved being able to serve in the temple:)
